    I have imported some products and the import was successfull but the products have a small icon of an arrow pointing left next to them. Picture here https://prnt.sc/1w8hnjm

    Googling says this may mean they are grouped products but I have checked and they are not, they are just simple products.

    The products are showing on our website ok but an oddity is they do not show up in our live search but do on the main search which is an annoyance, how can i fix this ?

    Hi there,

    This small arrow icon normally represents an indication that the product is part of grouped products.

    It is strange, however, that the icon also appears on simple products. Can you check if it still appears when you disable all other plugins (except WooCommerce) and change the theme in Storefront?

    I have resolved this, it turns out that all the imported products had a parent id number set in the posts table. I reset them all to 0 and the arrows vanished and also the products can now be found in the live search. Hope this helps anyone else in the future
