Arrogant Pre Sales Inquiry

Avoid this company. They prove they DO NOT CARE if you become a customer.

“We trust you’ll find another provider that can you assist further with your venture”

They display alarming red flags that indicate poor customer service if you were to become a paid subscriber.

I liked what I saw in their themes but only wanted to obtain a license for 1. So I wrote them with a compliment on their themes and questions about which one would be best for me:

“I never heard of your firm before today, but I was just overwhelmed and impressed with your lineup of themes. I wish I had known about you years ago!

I am in the process of building a new site to compliment by pet sitting business. Right now, I am building with the Sento theme (free) and really like the easy it offers. Buying a theme is a no-brainer.

However, I am uncertain which might be the best theme of yours to buy, so I’ll offer what I will be doing with the site:

I will ecommerce service of pet sitting and pet care. I will add pet-related affiliate marketing for the site. I will write blogs, and am quite good at it being a retired newspaper and broadcast journalist. That also means I will provide multi-media such as video to content creation. Hopefully I’ll connect with audience and then create brand sales like T-Shirts, etc.

Perhaps with this information you can recommend to me what the best theme would be for me to license. If money were not an object today, I’d buy all 27. But I ran into some unexpected expenses in recent weeks so limited right now to just 1 really good theme to build upon.

How unprofessional to send a non-customized reply to a potential customer and one with an emoji. I let them know how disappointed I was with their response and this is the reply I received:
