• The tool seems to be very powerful and can be overwhelming for an average WP developer. Installed the tool and tried working with it for several months. Ran into a problem and asked directly for help… after having just spent $59.00 for the subscription. Admittedly my question was out of frustration in trying to solve an issue for which I could not address, but I’ve never received a response from a customer service group like the one I received from this company.

    All I can say about Advanced Access Manager is… You’re Fired. Plenty of other companies to do business with. Don’t need to do business with a company that has an attitude.

    Would you like to do business with a company that sends a response like this?
    —————————————————

    “Seriously? I’ll give you a second chance to start all over…

    As a tip – focus on describing your objectives in as much details as possible (screenshots will be helpful). Then explain your issues and what is not “intuitive” (hopefully you understand that this is very subjective word) for your. Only after that I can try to help you. Otherwise consider to hire a professional who will do the job and you can keep your attitude with him.

    Keep me posted.

    @amohr or Art,

    For future… Whenever you ask somebody to help, please focus on describing issues that you experience rather than keep expressing your frustrations and threats.

    On my end I can only apologize if I hurt your feelings. Wish you all the best and hopefully you’ll find a peace in your mind and become more positive.

    Best regards,
    Vasyl

    I am a user like you and I allow myself to intervene because AAM is a plugin that manages perfectly the protection of data and access rights by providing a particularly neat interface. It offers a quality code and support that is both responsive and courteous. Because this plugin is unique and quickly becomes unavoidable, I find it unfortunate that a misunderstanding deprives you of the possibility of integrating it into your project. I am not used to read the documentations but with AAM, we act on the heart of WordPress and we must take precautions and know what we want to get. The developer has taken the time to do a very careful documentation and offers us a tool that is both powerful and accessible. In case of need, he does not hesitate to take the time to explain and often, it is our lack of knowledge on some principles used by WordPress which we lack.

    Hey erisal –

    Put your nose elsewhere. It doesn’t belong here and your comments are of no value. You are unaware of my multiple and direct communications to the company which I have done through their website.

    I’m sure the functionality of the tool is good. In fact, I used it for approximately a year, but when I ran into a problem, I found their customer service and willingness to help a customer severely lacking. Your post only mentions the tools functionality, again making your comment irrelevant since that was not my complaint.

    Vasyl – you again demonstrate your arrogance and lack of respect to a customer. I would highly suggest that you reconsider how you approach a customer and offer support.

    I did find a simple solution. I deleted the AAM plug-in and am now using a competitive product who was willing to help me set it up.

    @erisal thank you for backing me up and I’m sorry for @amohr’s arrogance.

    Typically I let people express their emotions without response however in this instance you’ve offended one of my loyal followers and I simply can’t let it go.

    I’m not here to judge you @amohr so I will only list few bullet points where you could think twice, act more mature and with respect to others.

    1. If you decided to escalate your feedback to public, please have enough guts to handle response in professional manner. You level of hate is fascinated to me however we all would appreciate a lot if you can be respectful to other members of the WordPress community;
    2. Nobody owns you anything. Online community is based on passionate people who are willing to help in their spare time so please be respectful and patient. There is no need to be disrespectful and send threats in your emails;
    3. You have wrong assumption about AAM plugin. It does not have any “company” behind it. There is only one guy who supports all of it however there are hundreds of contributors that provided feedback and ideas. It also does not have “competitors” because I never considered any competitors or tried to compete against any. I’m aware that there are other plugins that have similar functionality and I’m glad that you found one that fits your needs.
    4. I have nothing to hide so really it does not bother me much that you shared my response online however this is the legal violation as all of my emails contain “Confidentiality notice” and you clearly ignored it…

    Just be kind man, alright?

    Regards,
    Vasyl

    @amohr,

    You keep surprising me man. Apparently you also used unauthorized source of payment to purchase the license as I’ve got chargeback request from the owner of the credit card.

    What kind of person are you..?

    No, the purchase was valid. I’m glad to hear that AMEX is properly crediting my purchase after I filed my complaint. At least AMEX understands customer service.

    @amohr hahaha.

    Why didn’t you ask simply for refund? You really wanted to go through the AMEX fraud department and purposely state that this was a fraudulent transaction?

    Maaaan, you are one of the kind… First time in 7 years had a case like this. Great job bud.

    Great work Vasyl, been looking for a solution to lock down the rest api and yours is the only one of 5 or 6 tested lately that actually does what it says (over https & multi site as well!), keep it up ??

    @amohr – you need to seriously relax. now i see why you received such a response. you are obviously a hot-head and lack maturity. you are the reason some developers don’t bother with free plugins. please, share with us your website so we can test your customer service skills.

    @vasyltech your plugin is one of a kind, this person seriously seems to have an attitude problem. keep up the good work man.

    When Vasyl produces code or treats his clients, he does it with the utmost care. He masters his subject perfectly and it’s very reassuring to know that he is also involved in our projects.
