array_merge(): Expected parameter error

    Hello, I opened the error_log file and found these errors that related to the plugin:

    [11-Apr-2021 02:45:21 UTC] PHP Warning:  array_merge(): Expected parameter 1 to be an array, null given in /home/sitename/public_html/wp-content/plugins/latest-post-shortcode/latest-post-shortcode.php on line 2128
[11-Apr-2021 03:55:06 UTC] PHP Warning:  array_merge(): Expected parameter 1 to be an array, null given in /home/sitename/public_html/wp-content/plugins/latest-post-shortcode/latest-post-shortcode.php on line 2128

    there is a long list of this same exact error but with different dates, the last one is today, any idea what causes this?
