    Hello,

    Suddenly the plugin no longer works since today, I get a weird error and I can’t figure it out myself. See below for the error message. Does anyone know what to do?

    @nextscripts Thank you for the quick Re:

    My website with the the native API and Version 4.3.9 of the plugin actually still works fine. I just posted on November 15, 2019 3:56 pm

    All other websites with upgraded Version 4.3.11 Array ( [Warning] => [Error] => Invalid appsecret_proof provided in the API argument )

    App is fine and so is the secret. Appears to be problem in the passing of the session in 4.3.11 if you ask me. Do you need me to revert back to 4.3.9 on the problematic websites and see if this will fix it?

    @karpathir your issue is not related to this topic. Please see the answer in the FAQ – #2.26: https://www.nextscripts.com/support-faq/#a23

    @bibliata Have you tried to re-authorize the plugin? What kind of post are you tying to make(text, image or shared link). Are you posting to profile, page or group? Do you have an approved app?

    (@bibliata)

    @nextscripts What do you mean by authorizing the plugin? If you mean authorizing the app or credentials from the plugins interface, there is no need for that. I reverted to Version 4.3.9 and everything is working fine – different websites posting to group, page and profile.

    FB has made no changes to the API so it doesnt seem to be their problem. Something in the new version of the plugin breaks the session and does not pass the token properly to FB, This is as far as we got yesterday looking at the logs…

    @nextscripts NOT sure if this is important but it comes straight from your error log

    | WHERE (flt = “snap” OR (flt = “cron” AND (type = “E” OR type=”W”))) |
    [2019-11-17 10:08:10] [User ID:1] – [Error] [Facebook – Facebook] – -=ERROR=- Array ( [Warning] => [Error] => Invalid appsecret_proof provided in the API argument )

    Obviously the argument is NOT passing with the API to authorize appsecret_proof
    The appsecret_proof works fine in v.4.3.9
    Are yall sure it’s not something in your code?

    @bibliata

    It must be something on our code, but surprisingly you are the only one with this issue. We can’t replicate it too.

    What API are you using (Native, Username/password, session)?
    What kind of post are you tying to make(text, image or shared link).
    Are you posting to profile, page or group?

    bibliata

    (@bibliata)

    Have you run it via FB Mobile API too?

    What was working perfectly suddenly became broken when upgraded to version 4.3.11.
