    Hi,

I am using plugin v4.8.2 and wordpress v6.2.

In the admin dashboard I am seeing the following error:

Notice: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /home/pynkhealthcom/public_html/dev/wp-content/plugins/admin-site-enhancements/classes/class-admin-interface.php on line 148

    See a screenshot here – https://i.imgur.com/hqvmEqc.png

@azurigroup can you list the dashboard widgets you have? Simply go to Dashboard and click Screen Options. Would also be great to know which plugin each widget belongs to.

@qriouslad I did have “limit login attempts reloaded” installed so deactivated that thinking it would have been conflicting with your plugin. Also deactivated the RankMath SEO plugin. Still getting the error – https://i.imgur.com/NtTbqmP.png

@azurigroup can you send a screenshot of the Disable Dashboard Widgets module instead? I need to see the full list of widgets, not just after some have been disabled.

@qriouslad can you please clarify where you mean?

I have disabled all widgets now – https://i.imgur.com/7U8mjDz.png

@azurigroup go to Admin and Site Enhancements page >> Admin Interface >> Disable Dashboard Widgets >> Expand. Then take a screenshot of it.

@azurigroup ‘dashboard_recent_comments’ does not look right… will investigate a fix and get back to you. Thanks for reporting!

@azurigroup please try disabling / turning off the Disable Dashboard Widgets module and show all widgets on the dashboard via Screen Options. Take a screenshot of the dashboard with all widgets visible.

I’m curious about the ‘dashboard_recent_comments’ widget, which is likely what’s causing the error. What widget is that? Where does it come from? WP core or a plugin? It’s not in a fresh WP 6.2 dashboard.

This should help me replicate the issue first before investigating a fix.

@qriouslad this will make troubleshooting harder, but the error has now disappeared! I updated all plugins – https://i.imgur.com/C9iAnqk.png – and I am not seeing the error now. Although, Perfmatters has an option to disable comments – https://i.imgur.com/WBykqYp.png – so I’m wondering if that is related to the error? In your plugin I do not have comments disabled – https://i.imgur.com/2gslQMv.png
I saw the other post about an import/export option. This would be a great idea to help with support issues too. We could export our settings so you can import them into a fresh WP install on your side ??

@azurigroup yes, that’ll make it harder to troubleshoot. Good that error disappears though. I can’t intuit where ‘dashboard_recent_comments’ could’ve came from, so, the older version of perfmatters could’ve been it. Do you remember which version was it before you update?

As for import/export feature, I have that noted down for now. I’ve also been thinking about creating a diagnostics section which would help troubleshooting issues. Could have WP, PHP, MySQL version info, list of plugins activated along with version number, and list of Admin and Site Enhancements modules activated.

For now, I’ll mark this resolved.

@qriouslad we use Perfmatters and your plugin on a lot of client sites. So if I see that error again I will create a staging copy of the site and can give you logins. P.s. I tried contacting you via the form on your website but there was an error when submitting the form

@azurigroup good to hear you’re using this on a lot of client sites. Quick question, would you / your agency be interested to either sponsor the ongoing development of the current free version via Github Sponsors, or consider upgrading to a Pro version should I create it in the future?

As for contact form on my site, thanks for letting me know. The site could use a full rebuild. It’s an old one from many years ago. ?? …you can probably reach me faster here in the support forum, or via qriouslad[at]gmail[dot]com for sending login credentials.
