    Thanks. This is third party code but I’ll take a look at getting it fixed for a future update.

    well it comes from a library you used in your plugin, so hopefully you can either update it or find a way that your plugin does not produce those errors ??

    It is used by my plugin, yes, but I’m not going to change it if an update doesn’t cure it. Otherwise, I’ll alert the developer. But I will look at getting it updated and hope it cures it.

    Well, the php notices are coming from your plugin so you are responsible to make sure this stops ??

    As a provider of a free plugin which I work on whenever I get some free time (which is less and less these days), I don’t feel I have any responsibility here. You can find an alternative plugin if these deprecation messages are causing you concern.

    Alternatively, someone has already set up a PR to update the third party script in question (https://github.com/dartiss/plugin-readme-parser/pulls), so if you’d like to take a fork of the code and do this, then please do. It’s all GPL, so you’re free to do with it as you please.

    Also, I assume these deprecation messages are appearing in something like the debug bar rather than on the site itself? If the latter, please let me know, so I know this is anything other than a low priority background notice.

    Yeah, an over 1+ year old PR…

    All fine, going to accept your non-willing (as we can see because you closed this topic right in the beginning).

    Looks like we’re forced to look for another plugin.

    I closed up this topic because I’ve transferred your request to Github, apologies for not making this clearer. But, as a result, it’s not gone away as it’s active there.

    Otherwise, I don’t know what else to say. I’ve added it to the Github issues list so that when I look at this next, I will. This is not a bug and won’t be causing any issues with your site, so I’m treating it very much as low priority – if you think otherwise, please let me know the impact so that I can re-assess it.
