Arranging the Home Page title.

It seems by default, the plugin ‘home page title’ displays the Sitename(general->settings->site title:) first, followed by the page title(from the plugin).
I would like to know if there is a way to make the homepage title display first, followed by the site title.
Would this be better for SEO if I am using a keyword rich title template on the home page?
This would allow for the keywords to appear before the site title.* The site title I am referring to in the “General” -> “Settings” -> “Site Title”.
