Hmm that is strange, does everything else work without problems? What version of WP are you running?

I’m using WP 3.5.1.

I tried to rearrange it once more. It looks like if the field (icon, title, alt and target) isn’t selected very well. Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to try it a few times. When I do it quiet and try it a few times than I can select the field and rearrange it.

So it works but I have to be patient.

I haven’t encountered any issues with it so I will assume this is a localized issue on your install. If anyone else experiences this I will delve further into the issue. Thanks

Hi. I seem to be having a problem with arranging the icons too. But it just won’t work for me, either in Chrome or Safari.

I have 5 icons on my site header here that I want to put in a particular order. When I try to change the order when editing the widget I can click and drag any icon but nothing changes – the icon goes back to where it was and the order stays as it was.

I’m using the latest versions of everything – wordpress 3.5.1 with headway 3.4.9 and social media widget 4.

Are you clicking ‘Save’ after changing the order?

yes, but there is nothing to save – I drag the icons but the 1-5 order of the icons stays the same. Just to be clear I go into edit widget from appearance and try to drag the icons (numbered 1-5 in my case) into a new order but nothing moves.

I’ve captured a screenshot here – you can see I was dragging the facebook icon down the page, but nothing moved. After I released the icon just returned to where it was.

Just upgraded to the 4.0.1 version you released overnight but no change.

I’m now using the latest version 4.0.2 but still no change – the functionality is broken and I have had no fix after 1 month. Now the cursor changes to a cross with four arrows when you go to drag the icons, but nothing moves and stays in the new position.
Any chance of this problem being addressed?
Aside from this bug the plugin works better than others I have tried. Many thanks
