Arrange content on top of Nivo Slider

  • Fellow guys,
    Could you please tell me how to make ARRANGE settings ( for ex. in photoshop, when you want to place a image on top of another image, u will go to ARRANGE > BRING TO TOP )in a wordpress theme ?

    Simply saying, what i want is, just to get the content area ( home page main content text ), on top of the IMAGE SLIDER ( here i have used NIVO Slider ) .

    But i want the upper part of the slider ( lets say 50% of from the top ) to be visible . And the other part to be covered by the content .

    I made the change, but the problem i encounter is, when the NIVO SLIDER changes it’s slide images, that content part goes back of the newly loaded image .

    So what i want is, the content part to be visible always without being over lapped by the slider image .

    Is this is possible ?
