• Hello Pete,

    Is it normal that the “var arrAffiliates” appears in the HTML source code like this:
    var arrAffiliates = {
    ‘com’ : ‘…’,
    ‘co.uk’ : ‘…’,
    ‘de’ : ‘…’,
    ‘fr’ : ‘…’,
    ‘ca’ : ‘…’,
    ‘co.jp’ : ‘…’,
    ‘jp’ : ‘…’,
    ‘it’ : ‘…’,
    ‘cn’ : ‘…’,
    ‘es’ : ‘…’,
    ‘in’ : ‘…’
    };

    I am not comfortable with anyone being able to access my Affiliate codes so easily.
    Is there a way this does not appear in the final HTML page?

  • As the plugin’s user, I don’t really see a point in that. The affiliate ID’s are public anyway; what’s the problem with someone being able to see them, if he or she can find them in a few minutes anyway? (using proxy servers, for example.) Also, what’s the worst that can happen? Someone will use them and you will earn more?
