    Hi Elementor Support Team,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Floating Button widget in Elementor. When I run accessibility tests, I receive the following error:

    • Invalid ARIA Attribute: The floating button widget is automatically adding aria-role="dialog", which is not a valid ARIA attribute. The correct attribute should be role="dialog".

Additionally, I tried adding role|dialog and aria-label|Contact Floating Button through Custom Attributes under Advanced settings, but the error persists.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Hello Elementor Support Team,

I’m experiencing the same issue reported by others: Elementor Pro is automatically adding an invalid aria-role="dialog" attribute to the floating button widget. This attribute is not valid per accessibility standards, as it should just be role="dialog" or role="button". This is causing accessibility errors in tools like PageSpeed Insights.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this?

    Thank you,
    Javier

Take a look, it is marked as an Invalid ARIA Attribute, which has lowered my PageSpeed Insights score.

    Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us agian and for great feedback.

I’ve gone through the details you provided and was able to see and understand the issue. Unfortunately,????? this is a known bug affecting the invalid?aria?attribute to the floating button widget.

I am not able to provide you with an ETA of the resolution of this issue, but once the fix is released, you will receive a notification on your WordPress dashboard informing you there is a new update for Elementor plugins and we will update it on our changelog page:
    https://elementor.com/pro/changelog/
    https://github.com/elementor/elementor#changelog

What I can do from my side is vote for this issue in our internal bug report system so that it receives higher priority and hopefully gets fixed in one of the next plugin updates.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work on this problem.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
    Kind Regards,
