Sorry to hear your translation files are not working as expected. If you want to share more information on this I’d be happy to look investigate or discuss with the team. The below may be of use:

    1. Can you share an example of some of the translations not appearing as expected or further information?
    2. Are you using any language plugin?
    3. What Site Kit version did you upgrade from?

    Hi @jamesosborne

There has been the same problem in the past with Site Kit that overwrite the translationfiles, so Site Kit return into english when the plugin was updated.

No, I do not use any language plugin (however, I have translated Site Kit into Danish here at www.remarpro.com). Otherwise, I use POEdit Pro, but no plugin.

    I upgrade from version 1.22.0 to 1.23.00.
There was no problem when I upgraded to 1.22.0 earlier.

Thanks for providing additional information. I’ve noticed some peculiar behavior myself when switching languages, although not limited to updating from 1.22.0 to 1.23.0.

I’ve added comments to recently closed GitHub issue, while I’ll also check this with the team.

I’ll provide an update on this as soon as I have any additional information, unfortunately I can’t provide a timeframe. Thank you for reaching out with this information and also a big thank for your contributions to the plugin translations.

Feel free to include any additional information to that GitHub issue.

@finnsommer Thanks for your patience on this. On the test site I used whereby I encountered the same issue we were able to determine the issue being with corrupt language files.

Can you try and switch your site language before then removing the Danish language files (wp-content/languages/plugins) and then from your WordPress admin panel check for any available language translations (Dashboard > Updates)?

@finnsommer since we have not heard from you, I will mark your topic as resolved. Please open a new support topic if you have further questions.
