ARGGH! Help needed to decide on hosting options!

    OK, I currently have our family ministry wordpress site hosted through iPage.

    I’ve been pretty happy with them but the second year rate is coming up and it is like THREE times what I paid last year. As we run this site sacrificially and make NO money from it, we try to keep expenditures as low as possible..

    I realize that you don’t actually “need” a domain name and a host to have a wordpress blog but we’ve had the domain name kjv-truth-ministries.org for almost four years and would hate to lose it.

    Was looking at Just Host and Fat Cow but come to find out they’re all a part of some multinational conglomerate called EIG. So, in the end they will all be the same. I can save some money by switching to JH or FC but will be in largely the same boat next year…

    DOES anyone know of any truly honest and upfront web hosts that have reasonable rates for a year?
