One of the major changes in My Calendar version 2.4 is something that will only effect people who’ve been using My Calendar for more than about 3 years. I removed the ID ‘#jd-calendar’ from all calendars. This ID had caused a problem for years, because it caused a duplicate ID warning that invalidated your HTML if you included more than one calendar on the same page. This will no longer happen.

Three years ago, in advance of this change, I changed all stylesheets shipped with My Calendar so that they would no longer reference the ID #jd-calendar; but older installations may still be using those original stylesheets.

When you upgrade to version 2.4, you’ll have three choices:

    1) You can search and replace your current stylesheet, replacing ‘#jd-calendar’ with ‘.mc-main’

    2) You can reset your current stylesheet to the default version of that stylesheet.

    3) You can select a new stylesheet from the My Calendar Theme selector.

The 2nd and 3rd are standard options from My Calendar > Style Editor; the first requires your own manual editing of the stylesheet.

    Best,
    Joe
