Are you sure you want to edit this post?

  • Hello Everyone,

    When I am writing a Post after some time it saves automatically and when i submit publish it ask me Are you sure you want to edit this pos:””? , if i say yes it go back to editor and post does not published.
    If I write a post quickly then I have no problem at all.
    I am using WP2.1

    I loose the messages.

    ok, i find one solution (for the moment and work for me )

    you haft to delete this 2 lines.

    the line 58 from : wp-admin/post.php

    this is the line 58: “wp_enqueue_script(‘autosave’);“

    and the line 8 from : wp-admin/post-new.php

    this is the line 8: “wp_enqueue_script(‘autosave’);“

    if you delete this 2 lines everything will be all right..

    I’m still getting it. It happens whenever I try to save. To boot, when try to delete the drafts I’ve accumulated it gives me an error.

    The strange thing is is that I’m running basically the same system on another server and it works fine. The only different I can see right now between the two servers is that one has FreeType Support and XBM Support while the other, non-working one does not.

    I’ve tried all my plugins and none of them seem to have an effect, one way or the other.

    Was this issue solved on another thread I haven’t found?

    I started having this problem when I saved a post with just a number in the title. In addition to this annoying question, the Visual Editor has disappeared and none of the buttons in the Code Editor show up unless I unselected the option for the Visual Editor. It almost seems like the post with only a number (935) in the title corrupted something.
