Are you optimized for WP 4.0?

  • The page does not come up on the web. Its just a blank page. I just upgraded WP today and then downloaded and installed your theme. I LOVE the theme. Any ideas?

  • Hi there, I’m running the latest version of Bouquet fine with WordPress 4. Have you tried switching to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen temporarily? Another troubleshooting technique is to deactivate all your plugins. If the theme loads fine, then reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

    I tried several different themes like Twenty Ten and Twenty Twelve and they worked fine. Then I tried Twenty Fourteen and it is doing the same thing as Bouquet, (blank screen on the web). I tried the Plugin thing and this had no effect.

    If you’re seeing a blank page for the default Twenty Fourteen theme then it’s not a theme-specific issue, and if you deactivated all plugins and you still saw a blank screen, it could be that something didn’t get correctly updated to 4.0 when you updated core.

    You might try doing a careful manual update to be sure no files got corrupted when you did the upgrade earlier.

    Be sure to follow the instructions exactly so you don’t overwrite any of your customizations and back up your database and files beforehand. Good luck!
