I set my backup like this:
Backup my database and files daily at 23:00, store the last 2 backups in ZZZ/wp-content/backupwordpress-35f4fa7dc4-backups.

Now we are on the 24th of January (today’s backup is not done yet, that’s ok, it’s too early) but the two backups I have are from
    – the 21st
    – and from 19th of January.
I was expecting to have the backups from 23 and 22.

    Are you deleting backups randomly?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why aren’t you deleting the oldest ones first?

This plugin is installed on a production site, so I’m not playing here, this is serious business!

PLUS(!!!), only one of the backups contains both the files and the SQL script. The other one contains only the files!
Good job! I was relying on your backup.
I started searching for another backup tool, one that I can trust.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with our plugin. We don’t delete backups randomly. If there is an issue running the backup, then you won’t see a file for that day. It sounds like you are running into some kind of limit and your backups aren’t completing all the way. There are lots of reasons that this might happen so we’d need more information and troubleshooting in order to try and help you work around it.

Have you tried to back up just the database manually and/or on a schedule? How about a files-only backup? Manually or on a schedule? Have you attempted to exclude any files to see if perhaps the file size was stalling out your backups?

All these options and lots more are covered in the Support Center on our site: https://bwp.hmn.md

Thanks, and sorry again for the trouble you’re having,
    Kat
