Are WordPress to Movable Type pingbacks manual?

  • Are WordPress to Movable Type pingbacks more manual in that the Word Press site owner has to copy and paste the url of the referenced link into their admin tool when creating the post?

    Or are WordPress to Movable Type pingbacks automatic like WordPress to WordPress pingbacks?

    I appreciate any info anyone can provide.
