    Hey @tmillernl ,

Currently, only simple products are supported for tickets. Down the line you may see this as a feature, however there has not been much demand for this in it’s true form. I think that we should also try to assess what your motivation for using the variable products are in this case.

For instance, if you are trying to implement variable products so that you can use multiple prices (like adult tickets and child tickets to the same event), then you will not be able to accomplish this with OpenTickets Community Edition alone. We have a separate extension that opens up the availability to implement multiple prices on a single event, which you can find on our GAMP Extension page, on our website.

If you are trying to implement something like your other question using the variable products, then you will need to either use the PMSAK plugin or have something made to fit your specific requirements, depending on your budget. At least that is my suggestion based on the information I have.

In the event that neither of these are what you are trying to do, and in fact you are trying to do something else, then try to explain it here, and we will all brainstorm a possible solution. As a community I am sure we can come up with something, if it does not exist already. Or we may have a plugin the works already that will do it for you !!!! ??

    Hope this helps,
    Loushou

Hey @tmillernl – I have not heard anything back from you on this, or from anyone else with the same question. It seems like the answer should clear things up, so I am going to close this ticket. If you still have questions, feel free to reopen it, and I will respond back appropriately.
