Are uploaded jpgs affected by Exif orientation?

  • Some of my jpgs are being rotated 90 degrees when I upload them!!!?!

    Is there something that could be causing this?

    All I can think is that they were taken on a digital camera that has stored the fact that they were taken in portrait mode or something…
