    Hi,

Do you have any issues with Google correctly tracking the second domain pages? If so, what do I need to watch out for in my set up?

When I set this up, it works great. However in page source of second domain pages, I see CSS and images still pull from the original first domain. That is fine, except wondering about Google indexing these second domain pages and getting confused by the other domain CSS and such in the HTML.

    Thanks for your help,
    Dean

    hi dean,

i do not know about any issues if there are sources from other domains. you should of course use a xml-sitemap that does use these addon-domains (yoast seo is supported by the plugin).

also if you use google analytics you must configure it for cross-domain-tracking in order to see which domains were visited (there are help documents from google, since it is an advanced case i can not give free support for that).

if you experience any issues please report them, so other users do know about it and we can try to improve the plugin.

    Hi Matt,

I will be using separate templates for the second domain area of the site, so I will not need cross domain google tag. I’ll just use the standard tag for the second domain. I think we are good. I’ll let you know if there are issues.

Thanks for your reply, it is helpful,
    Dean
