I have some dancers and singers database and I want to create their profiles. Profiles would include

text (profile fields) + photos + YouTube videos.

    My questions :

1 – Are there any ready templates or do I have to work with CSS to make the profiles look beautiful? And will the profiles be responsive?

2 – Can I create a fronted form which users can fill during registration or post registration to create and maintain their own profiles?

    Thank you

We don’t do any theme design at all as that’s completely outside of scope for our project as we’re just helping you output content. It’s fairly easy to make content look good in a standard theme page if the theme you’re using supports responsive, clean, simple design.

You can check out the Grow Beyonds Posts & Pages video for an overview of how the Pods Templating system works.

On your 2nd question: yes, you can do something of that nature, but if you’re looking for something to integrate with New WordPress User Registration, that’s probably better handled with Gravity Forms, as we’re not a forms engine (our forms are very rudimentary and basically replicate most of what’s in the back-end) and we don’t override the default WordPress User Registration at all. Depending on the fields for your User Profiles, you can use Gravity Forms to also populate the fields in Pods, or you can do a two stage form that creates the user registration and on the second ‘page’ (or confirmation/thank-you of the page) routes to another form to complete their Dancer/Singer profile.

If doing CSS/HTML is beyond what you’re wanting to do, we also integrate with Beaver Builder & Beaver Themer with our Pods Beaver Themer Add-on.
