    Hi there.

First of all, thank you for developing such a useful plugin.

The plugin works perfectly, but I have a question about the slider with SEO.

Are the images I include in the slides recognized as “images” by Google bots?

    Or

Do bots just recognize as shortcode?

Also, is it normal that the lightbox doesn’t work for slideshow images? Is there any way to change it so that the lightbox works?

    Thank you.

This is something you can check for by yourself, by viewing the source code of a page (NOT using the inspector, but by actually viewing the source code). Slideshows print the whole markup.

Yes, that is how it is designed.

Is there any way to change it so that the lightbox works?

No. The “main” (sliding) image in a slideshow is the equivalent of an image in a lightbox, so adding a separate lightbox to it is redundant. If you explicitly want a lightbox, you have to use one of the other layouts.

Hi, @sayontan. Thank you for your response.

I get what you mean. I just want to ask one more additional question.

Is there any way to loop the slider image?

It should loop by default. If it isn’t looping, there is a shared setting with lightboxes. Check under Photonic → Settings → Lightboxes → Common → No Looping. That setting should be unchecked for the slider to loop.

Hi, @sayontan . Thanks for answering.

I saw your answer and checked that option, but it’s already unchecked.

I have made a Stagging site for resolve this issue and tested it after removing all plugins and Functions.

However, it still doesn’t solve .

Can you help me on how to resolve this issue?

I put the slider using the Photonic widget in the Gutenberg editor, after uploading the image files to the library.

I’m using the Astra theme, and the slider can be found at https://vietnamguide.co.kr/test/?p=20251.

    Thank you.

Change your transition effect from “fade” to “slide”. The “fade” transition does not allow certain other things to happen.
