are search engines aware of sites on my network?

  • hello, i just want to know how search engines treat sites on my network.
    are they visible? are they findable? when posts are made, are search engines, spiders and aggregators pinged.

  • If the Settings -> Privacy settings are set properly to allow search engines then yes they will be able to be crawled. As for if the will be crawled that depends. The most reliable way would be to create a sitemap using one of the many plugins and submit it to Google and others directly.
