Are recipes marked as rich snippets? And can I remove the star reviews?

    I just began using WP ultimate recipe and love it! Two question though…

    1- Are posts made as “recipes” marked up with proper HTML to make them rich snippets? I installed another plugin but I want to know if it’s needed.

    2- How can I remove the star ratings? I am not upgraded to the premium account, but I don’t want star reviews to show on my editor or page. Can I remove those?

    Hi there,

    1. Yes, we add all the necessary metadata. Definitely don’t add another plugin for that because Google wouldn’t like seeing 2 slightly different sets of metadata for the same recipe.

    2. If you don’t give the recipe a rating in the editor it won’t show up on your website. Hiding it in the editor is not possible without some custom CSS.
