Are External URLs Protected From Sharing

    I am starting to implement Easy Digital Downloads on my site and I want to host my files on my Google Drive. Is this ok? I don’t plan to have a lot of traffic with downloads, so not worried about exceeding bandwidth. My concern is that once a file is purchased and the link is sent to the purchaser, that the link can be shared with multiple people who did not purchase the file since it’s hosted on Google Drive. Some of my files will run in the 500-800mb range and I have 1TB of Google Drive storage to use.

    Unfortunately we do not currently support Google Drive. We do have extensions that allow support for Amazon S3 and Dropbox. Either extension will allow you to sell large files that will be protected to prevent sharing.
