Are emails stored anywhere

Can anyone tell me if this plugin stores the emails after they have been sent? is there somewhere I can see them?

Not unless you have added another plugin such as Flamingo to store the submissions in the database.

I disagree. GDPR as I understand it requires you to i) ask for permission to do this, ii) to store the data securely, iii) to justify why this data is being stored, iv) to state this clearly in the Privacy Policy, and v) to allow users to request that this data is removed.
