Are comments automatically nofollow?

    Hi, I can’t seem to find an updated answer to this question.

    It looks as though the comments use to automatically be nofollow (about 5 years ago), but I’m not sure if that is still the case because there are several plugins that give you the ability to add the nofollow attribute to comments on your blog.

    Any information or links would be appreciated.

    Nevermind, I just looked at the source on one of my pages and the links in the comments are nofollow.
