Are all themes capable of blogging, e commerce, and podcasting?

  • I am wondering if I need a specific theme for all of these or if plug-ins are what make all the themes capable if that is the situation. So, are all themes capable of blogging and everything?

    Blogging yes, but podcasting and ecommerce are provided by plugins.

    To add to that, you don’t need a special theme for podcasting or ecommerce. There are themes out there which claim to be “compatible” with podcasting and ecommerce, but really they just provide better display for such things.

    You can use podcasting and ecommerce plugins with any theme.

    Sweet. So basically, with plug-ins, any theme is more or less useful in the same way?
