Archiving not working

    Hello,

    my Matomo isn’t archiving anymore since this morning. I already checked the FAQs.

    Log and Realtime Data is working. Manually triggering the archiving doesn’t do anything although it says it was successful. There are no errors anywhere. As i started an Ad-Campaign today i REALLY need the data ?? Can you please help me?

    Hi @helloplanetat, did you make any changes recently that might be significant?

    Can you also try doing the following:

    1. Add define('WP_DEBUG', true);, define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);, define('MATOMO_DEBUG', true); to your wp-config.php file (before it says /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */).
    2. Inititate archiving manually.
    3. Check for a /path/to/wordpress/wp-content/debug.log file, and check if there are any error messages.
    4. Then undo the changes to wp-config.php.

    And let me know if you see anything relevant there?

    Hello @dizzyatinnocraft, thanks for getting back.

    Before i do that: Today i can see the data from yesterday in the reports. But i have the same problem with the data from today. The Log works, but i can’t see them in the reports. Does that help? You Have any idea what the problem could be with that information.

    No i didn’t make any updates or changes.

    @helloplanetat That’s not something I can remember seeing before. The only guess I can get from that information is that your webserver or database’s timezone may not be set to UTC. The logs might be helpful in determining the exact issue.

    It would be also be helpful to see if the report data is present in the database ‘archive’ tables after archiving is run, but this would require inspecting the database. Is this something you are comfortable doing?
