• Hi,

I created a WP site locally , with 5 pages, and about 8 articles.

I’ve just started using the SEO tool, SEOmoz, and it’s reporting 30 duplicate page content pages.

The Title of the pages all include ‘Archive’, but the URLs are the same as the original page URLs. Here an example:

Title: Interior Design Archives ? Jayfine Design

    and the URL is..:

    https://www.jayfine.co.uk/category/interior-design/

What is the recommended course of action here? I’m using Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin, which seems to help for archive pagination. But not blocking archives altogether.

Should I completely block archives with robots.txt or .htaccess?

Is there any unwanted side effects for such blocking or archives?

    Many thanks in advance,
    c
