Archives – pictures not show

I have put in wordpress, options,reading, show the most recent 1 posts paged.
so tha i can put 1 picture / main page.
there is a link “previous entries” to see the other post with picture but the problem is that the text titel is showen but not the pictures.
the same problem is that when it click on archives, novembre i get a list but i get no pictures
