Archives not loading up when in url-rewrite mode

I have ran into a weird problem. I am using Extended Live Archives plugin. The problem is when I am running this theme in my PC the archives runs perfectly.

But when uploaded, I can view the archives page if opened like website.com/?page=23 but the same page when opened like website.com/archives , it does not load up the archives, rest of the page display fine.

Now, when I opened that error page in Interet Explorer, there was a error sign in bottom left of the window, which when opened shows a error “Permission Denied” .
