    Hello everyone,

I’ve recently imported two blogs from Blogger. With the first blog, I could go to my server’s control panel and see the folder “2006” and the folder “archives.” When I clicked on either of these I could see all my previous blog posts.

For my other blog I have imported successfully–I can see all the archives–but there is no folder present (neither “2006” nor “archives”).

What went wrong? I’ll need these folders, right, if I ever need to go in and troubleshoot?

  • with the first blog, you werent using wordpress since WP doesnt use directories in that fashion, so the short answer is “no”.

    Hi Whooami,

I really was using WordPress! I was importing from Blogger.

So assuming that everything is tickety-boo with my second blog, what do I do if there’s a problem with my archives? What file would I go to?

IS there a problem with your archives? It’s easier to answer that question once there is a problem.

The lack of a directory named “archives” will NOT affect your wordpress blog.
