I use the Archive widget, where e.g. June 2008 is redirected to …/?m=200806.
Now all these pages are gone. I cannot recall anything like updating parameters or whatever that caused this.

If I use the ‘Previous entries’ at the bottom of each page, the URL shows like …./?paged=3

    How can I rebuild it?

That’s some weird redirect issue… or you messed up your templates.
The category archives don’t work either, and they use the same template file (archive.php)

    Does it work if you
    a) switch to the default or classic theme?
    b) deactivate all plugins?

Unbelievable. It had nothing to do with my theme.
I deactivated all my plugins (not so many) and after reactivating ‘m one by one, I found that the Robots Meta 3.0.6 caused this.
That’s the one I installed last week.

Don’t know… Guess I post this issue at the plugin homepage (yoast.com).

    Thanks.

In addition: I overlooked an option in Robots Meta.
You can Disable/Enable Archive settings for the author or date-based archives.
    Completely solved!
