• Hi, I encountered an issue on my site where Archive sub-categories were not displayed at all in bradcrumb. So I contacted Yoast but they were unable to copy the issue.

By chance, while I was working on another site where I implemented Clearfy, I saw that option : “Remove duplicate names in breadcrumbs WP SEO by Yoast”. So I immediately unchecked it and it solved the problem.

So it looks pretty clear that the way you enable that feature is not respecting the archives breadcrumb by removing its last item too.

Can you please bring a fix to it makes it in fact useless.

    Regards.

  • Hello!

This option should work like this. We will make it more explicit to enable the “Remove duplicate names in breadcrumbs WP SEO by Yoast” option”.

    All right,
but if you were able to modify the script to remove the post name ONLY on Posts, and eventually CPT but NOT archive, this would make it useful as intended.

The actual version is just a buggy version of what’s intended, making it useless as said before. I think that it’s even better not implementing such problematic option.

    Best regards.

Ok. We will add this to the list of improvements.

    Best regards, Artem.
