My site chadcomello.com has Archives and Categories widgets in the sidebar whose titles are jammed up with the dropdown menus they hold. The other widgets in the sidebar have some spacing between their titles and content, and respond to changes I make in the CSS, but for some reason I can’t figure out the dropdowns don’t. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Hi thesimbalife,

In your theme folder style.css, on line 1693 there is some css rule defined for class “widget-title” which is “display:inline-block”, you can comment out or remove this line that helps you to fix category and archive menu drop down with titles, however there is 1 problem if you remove this then the border below widget title goes to full width as right now its only upto the title, may be anyone who have more CSS knowledge can help you with this ??

    Hey thesimbalife,
If you come up with a way to solve this, could you let me know? It’s driving me bananas. I notice on your site you’ve fixed the Categories issue, but not the Archives.
    Thanks ??

I didn’t do anything with the Categories, but I realized that when I shrunk the size of my browser, the Categories dropdown menu dropped below the widget title as it shrunk, right before the page switched to mobile view. The Archives menu didn’t, though, because Archives is a shorter word and the browser window didn’t hit it in time.
