Archive Settings > Archive Intro Text

When I enter custom content into the Archive Settings > Archive Intro Text it will appear when I do a search using the Impress Listings Search Widget, but when I click on a archive link from one of the single-listings and land on the archive page that same custom content won’t appear. Why?

For example, I’m wanting to add a Return to Listings button for each and every archive page. Do I have to enter the code snippet it into each individual archive setting, say for example, Locations…each Location archive setting? Intuitively, the main Archive Settings in Dashboard > Listings > Archive Settings appears to me to be a global setting for all archives, is it not?
