Archive problem due to domain masking?

I have two blogs on my server. I have a .htaccess file for both which give me the permalink functionality. My problem is that neither the permalinks nor my archives work properly.

When I click on an archive segment (August 2005, for example) the link takes me to the top of the blog home page – i.e., the most current post. Same with permalinks. Someone thought it might be because my blogs are redirected from other domains I created for them.

Is there something I can place in the .htaccess file to fix this problem?
