Archive Post Meta: Comments link is always shown with post date

  • I have installed the theme on a blog and wanted to customize the archive post meta display via Customizer -> Posts -> Post Archive -> Archive Post Meta. By default, only the post date option is checked. However, the comments link is also shown. The comments link only disappears when the post date checkbox is unchecked. The comments checkbox has no effect. All other options work fine.
