Using the settings within the app does not reactivate the pages. Neither does uninstalling the plugin. Nothing on the site interacts with the categories in this way. I’d like to leave the category pages active, but disable the rest of the archives.

A stupid question – but do you ever use categories on your website?

I looked at a few articles on your site but I could not find any indication of a category anywhere.

The plugin does not remove anything. Everything is preserved. It just triggers an error 404 when an archive page is called. Absolutely no data is changed. So there’s nothing to reactivate.

Maybe there’s a problem with your theme or with another plugin you’re using. Please follow this checklist https://petersplugins.com/please-follow-these-simple-steps-if-you-have-any-problems-with-one-of-my-plugins/ and let me know.

    Regards,

    Hey Peter,

Yes, I do, mostly on the back end, but I do have them queried on certain pages by category. I’ve never used the public archives, I only hid them knowing I had not styled them. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t be showing up then. I’ll check with my theme maker.
