Hello, I have a question about how to change archive page to my custom page. For example, I have the following link: “domain.com/car(this is my post type)/make/model/year” and when I open only “domain.com/car” I see archive page but I would like it to open my special page that I have created. I didn’t find where to change this, can you please help with solving this?

    Hi @infinyti,

    Thank you for your message.

The /car page is the URL of the post type archive, so if you create a subpage with the same slug, the post archive will be loaded anyway. This is how the URL structure in WordPress works.

    Hello @mateuszgbiorczyk,

    Thanks for the response.

And is there a way to change this somehow? I have written custom code with changing the post type slug to the taxonomy hierarchy and made a rewrite rules. It works and do not have such archive page but it does not work as your pluging does and my code opens only either taxonomy hierarchy url and droppes 404 page for post type page or post type works but taxonomy hierarchy droppes 404. So I have accidentally found this wonderful pluging where both works but the only problem is post type archive page as I want to show here a full catalog page instead.

@infinyti Our plugin is compatible with the default WordPress permalink structure. I don’t know what structure you have created for yourself. As a rule, a plugin is a universal tool, adapted to most cases. Your case is non-standard and beyond the capabilities of the plugin. I hope that you understand me.
