Archive page not displaying past events

Hi,

Just to confirm, did you created another events page and assign it under Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Events page to avoid conflict with the archive page?

I dont recall creating the pages, but I have an existing page https://www.emeraldcityedm.com/events/ – slug “events” where nothing shows up.

Then a different page set to be the main calendar – https://www.emeraldcityedm.com/upcoming-edm-events-calendar/ – slug “upcoming-edm-events-calendar” where the events and main calendar are.

Update: I changed the Event List/Archives > Events page to be “events”, I previously had this set to the calendar page “upcoming-edm-events-calendar” which is where I have future events listed via WP Full Calendar.

Now, future events are showing – but I want this page to be the archive of past events.

Update: I removed all page assignments then I was able to get a past list of events to show using shortcodes but I would prefer an archive page that is separate from the main events page.

You could create your own archive page by using a shortcode and use the main events page for the future events.

You could just create any Page and add a shortcode like:
[events_list scope="past" country="US"]<p>#_EVENTLINK will take place at #_LOCATIONLINK on #_EVENTDATES at #_EVENTTIMES</p>[/events_list]
