• Probably all part of the Internet Explorer 6 carry on… the archives in IE are neither thumbnailed nor clickable. The images are presented as full size as per the usual posting. They work beautifully (as clickable thumbnails) in FFox. Rspence’s site (from above) https://www.snowless.com/wordpress2/ demonstrates this for me using IE 6.0.2800.2180. Suggestions for solutions, patches?

  • The thumbnails aren’t clickable in IE7 either.

I’m having other problems as well. For instance, any permalinks other than the default do not work for me with this theme. That isn’t the case for my other blogs with different themes. My typical blogfeed of URL/feed doesn’t seem to be created with this theme either.

lynsey. In IE6 the archives don’t show thumbnails at all but the actual photo size. FYI.
Monotone was a collaboration between eight6 (https://eight6.com/) and Automattic.

This was fixed a while back.

    Hi Noel,
Can you clarify how this was fixed? I’m using the latest theme version 1.1 and still have the same problem in IE7… example : here

Yes, please explain. I have the same problem and can’t find the fix you are talking about.

…later that same 12 month period… No changes. No clickable thumbs in IE 6. Works just fine in ffox.

Sorry folks, it’s such a cool idea, but as at this date it just isn’t worth the effort if you want a theme that works with IE. If IE is important to you (and it does appear to be so for many of the visitors to my sites) suggest a similar looking theme iQ2 1.0.6. It doesn’t to the colour change thing but it does show exif data and it does play nicely with both ffox and ie.
