• Hi – is there a way to Archive by week of the year … rather than by month? I’ve seen it done by people who use Thumblogger but not sure if it can also be done on WordPress.

I want Archives on my sidebar to read something like:

    Weeks of 2008: 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34,
    33, 32, 31 …. 05, 04, 03, 02, 01

    Weeks of 2007: 11, 10, 09, 08, 07, 06,
    05, 04, 03, 02, 01

    Maybe there is a plugin?

  • Yah, there are lots of archives plugins, you can see them here:

    Thanks, TheSooFoo

I have been looking thru all the plugins (for some time now) and can’t find one that changes monthly archives to weekly archives on the sidebar.

There are quite a few plugins that change the archives one way or another, but if there is one that does what I need, I don’t see it…

Does anyone know the actual name of the plugin(s) … or know of another way?

    Thanks… ??

I’m assuming that there is no plugin that will work for me.

But I don’t mind adding the weekly archives on my sidebar manually … I just don’t know enough about php to make week “38” direct users to Sept. 14-20, 2008 posts…

    Any ideas? Please…

Actually, the template tag has a “weekly” parameter – I am sure you saw it when reading the documentation.

True, it will display something like :
    September 15, 2008–September 21, 2008

Not sure what documentation you are talking about? Could you please provide a link?
