Archive and Images

  • I need to create an archive page with links to posts by month and year. How can I do that?

    Also, where exactly am I supposed to find the “Post Format” option?

    On the right side in the editor you can see: Post Format: [Standard] (in a dropdown). Select the format you wish from there.

    To sort by month and year, just add /2019/ to the url, or /2019/01/ for January as an example. Add it as a custom link to the menu.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Inspecting the live demo, I figured I could do something like that. I was hoping for a more practical way to do that in the form of a calendar, or something along those lines, that would be automatically updated/generated, instead of creating those links manually; my blog is almost 20 years old so that would be a hassle to deal with.

    I could write the code to do it myself, but I was hoping for a “native” way.
