If we use Permalink Post name and the Post name in Arabic

Display relevant page stats in the Admin bar didn’t work and give number 0 in Total Sessions and Total Users

That’s happening in Analytics 4 it was working fine in the old Google Analytics

Hi @emga thanks for getting in touch. Could you please answer the questions below:

    1. Does the data in the admin bar match the data you see in the Site Kit Dashboard?
    2. Do you see 0 in Total Sessions and Total Users if you use Permalink Post name and the Post name in a different language

Any screenshots or recordings you can share will also be helpful. If the issue is simply with your Analytics data not displaying correctly, I’d also suggest reaching out to the Analytics Help Center for some further assistance as we are limited to support for the Site Kit plugin.

    1. Does the data in the admin bar match the data you see in the Site Kit Dashboard? the admin bar matches Google Analytics 4 if the Post name language is English and the admin bar doesn’t match Google Analytics and gives 0 if the Post name language is Arabic
    2. Do you see 0 in Total Sessions and Total Users if you use Permalink Post name and the Post name in a different language? No it’s giving me numbers like 2.8k and 7.4k if the post name in the English language

@emga Thank you for sharing the information. If the data is matched in the Site Kit Dashboard then this could be an Analytics issue and not a Site Kit one. Let’s check a few more things. Please can you share the following:

    1. When clicking on the More details link on the Site Kit admin bar for that post, are the same numbers displayed on the Site Kit page for that post?
    2. Do you see the same data when checking this specific post from your Analytics account?

Let me know if you have any questions on the information above.

@emga Thank you for sharing this extra information. So just to confirm with you, if you use an Analytics filter to exactly match the Arabic URL then you can view the data in Analytics, is that correct?

If you do not do this then you see the encoded URL as you shared above and there is no data displayed?

I am also testing this myself to see how this is happening but will need a bit of time to allow the data to come through to the test site.

@emga Thank you for confirming this. It’s good that you can still view this data from your Analytics account using a filter. As mentioned above, I am currently testing this and as soon as I have an update I will get back to you here.

If you have any questions in the meantime then please feel free to ask them.

@emga Just to update you on this. I have been able to reproduce this while testing on one of our websites. I intend to discuss this further with the team and will provide an update once I have one. Thanks for your patience with this.
