Approving form submissions
-
I am using Custom Contact Forms on a website for a photography competition, it proves very useful for that: unregistered users can submit large images which are stored on the server, CCF will provide at any time a nice table (exportable as spreadsheet) and so on.
However, there is one problem: not submissions are approved by default, they are approved only after the participant has paid the (small) entrance fee.
The most obvious way to solve that would be for the form to have a field which can be edited by the admin to change it, paid/unpaid, false/true, unapproved/approved, hidden/shown or whatever but this feature isn’t available (it was talked in a previous discussion, you can’t do it even in the database).
So my current solution is to download the submissions and do this offline, in a spreadsheet. But such syncing, done by hand, is very prone to human error.
Did someone else had a similar problem and came with a better idea? For the moment, I am out of ideas.
