approved user can’t login

Did you try to approve him from Users menu inside your dashboard as admin? Do you see the status Approved there?

I see in the admin area approved yes.

I don’t have other plugins, but I have a custom script to approve users.

I have this issue with users from time to time, not with a certain role.
